Privacy notice for the businesses we email

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Who is responsible. Exclusive Recipe Unipessoal Lda, company no. 516366718, a company registered in Portugal that trades as Vandale. Address: Beco da Areia, nº 25, Birre, 2750-053 Cascais, Portugal. We are the controller of the data described here. Contact: michael@jobcallrecovery.com.

What we hold and where it comes from. We find US home-services companies in public sources: contractor licensing registers, business directories and map listings, and the company's own website. From these we note the business name, a contact person's name and role where the business publishes them, a business email address, a business phone number and address, and which source we used. For businesses we write to, we may also note public facts from the company's map listing and website, such as its rating, review count, opening hours, logo, and short excerpts of public reviews that mention trouble reaching the business by phone (never the reviewer's name). We keep the emails we send, any reply, and a record of our contact with you. If we send you a personal link to a report or a sample call, we record the date and time it is opened.

Why, and on what legal basis. We use this to offer our service to your business by email and sometimes by phone, to tailor that contact to your business, and to answer you if you reply. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We weighed that interest against yours: we use only details a business publishes, we write only to businesses, we keep the contact short, and we stop as soon as you ask. AI tools help us sort public review text and draft parts of our emails. We make no automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising profiling.

Your right to object. You can object to our marketing at any time, free and without giving a reason (GDPR Article 21(2)). Reply "stop" to any email from us, or write to michael@jobcallrecovery.com and say stop. Within two business days we stop all emails and calls to you. We put your email address, and your company's web domain if you ask, on our do-not-contact list, which every future send is checked against. We keep that entry for as long as it is needed to honor your request, plus a short record of our contact with you and of your request so we can show we stopped. We use none of it for anything else.

Who receives it. Our service providers, under data processing terms: Google (business email and records), Instantly (email sending), Reoon (checking that an address works), Outscraper and Consulti (public business data), Anthropic (AI drafting and sorting of review text), fal.ai (AI voices for a sample call, only if you reply with interest), Hostinger (our servers, in the EU) and GitHub (hosting of this page). Also our professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires. Several of these providers are in the United States. Transfers there are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it. Up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then we delete it. If you object, we stop all outreach at once, keep the do-not-contact entry and request record described above, and delete the rest when the 12 months run out, or sooner if you ask.

Your other rights. You can ask for access to your data, a copy of it, correction, deletion, restriction of its use, or portability, by writing to michael@jobcallrecovery.com. We answer within one month, wherever you live. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

This website. This page sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms. Its host, GitHub, logs visitors' IP addresses for security. We receive no data from your visit.
